Simon Hegele starts operating new Logistics Center in Muggensturm

• New logistics space on 20,000 square meters
• For customers from the industrial and retail sectors
• Creation of over 80 new jobs

On July 01, 2022, Simon Hegele Gesellschaft für Logistik und Service mbH took a new logistics center in Muggensturm, Baden-Württemberg, south of Karlsruhe into operation. The 20,000-square-meter modern logistics building expands the logistics service provider's range of space for its customers from the industrial and retail sectors.

At the new location in the Muggensturms industrial area directly by the A5, Simon Hegele will prospectivly supply the production of a market leader in the retail sector and ensure just-in-time delivery to an electronics plant in Karlsruhe. In addition to classical contract logistics, the company also provides rollout services and special value-added services for customers in the decorative cosmetics sector.

In order to best meet the requirements of retail and industrial customers, Simon Hegele is relying primarily on wide aisle racking at the new location and also plans to create 80 new jobs by the end of the year.
