Simon Hegele expands automotive business

• Simon Hegele Automotive Solutions GmbH founded as a wholly-owned subsidiary at the Karlsdorf locations

Simon Hegele Automotive Solutions GmbH was founded on June 17, 2024. The new company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of logistics service provider Simon Hegele Gesellschaft für Logistik und Service mbH and is taking over 137 employees and trainees at the Karlsdorf-Neuthard location from its parent company by way of a transfer of operations. The business purpose of Simon Hegele Automotive Solutions is the provision of customized logistics and services for customers in the automotive industry.

The Karlsdorf location has already established itself in the automotive market through existing customer relationships with services in the areas of production line supply, spare parts logistics and value added services for OEMs. Spurred on by these previous successes and the in-depth expertise that already exists, the logistics service provider is now pushing ahead with the expansion of the automotive business with its own company.
