Siemens Energy and Simon Hegele sign contract for long-term partnership

• Expansion of the existing cooperation and service portfolio

The Simon Hegele Group is expanding its logistics services for Siemens Energy AG as of April 1, 2022 and will further take over comprehensive workshop activities. The logistics service provider was already active for the electrical and power engineering manufacturer at their Logistics Center Forchheim. In the future, the expanded portfolio of activities in the steam and gas turbine business will be handled at the Duisburg Logistics Center and at Siemens Energy in Mülheim an der Ruhr.

These extended services include, for example, the return management of rental tools, maintenance and repair activities including mechanical and electrical testing, and far-reaching services in the context of the coordination of the flow of goods.

In order to maintain its high performance with the customer in the expanded business, the logistics service provider Simon Hegele is investing in certifications and the creation of more than 50 new jobs. These include qualified personnel in the fields of industrial mechanics, electrics or locksmithing.
