Oliver Urich new CIO at Simon Hegele

Since February 1, 2020, the 43-year-old graduate business information scientist Oliver Urich has been CIO (Chief Information Officer) at the Simon Hegele Gesellschaft für Logistik und Service mbh in Karlsruhe.

Urich has many years of experience as a manager in the IT area at well-known retail and logistics companies. Before that he was responsible for the global IT organization at Logwin AG as IT director.

In his new position, Urich reports directly to Stefan Ulrich, CEO of the Simon Hegele Group. He will also become a member of the company's executive board. The manager's most important tasks include the further development of the IT and digitization strategy. The latter primarily affects the area of ​​supply chain processes for Simon Hegele customers.
