Our team at Simon Hegele Healthcare Solutions in Australia partnered with Siemens New Zealand to install an X-ray and an MRI system for Oceania Hospitals PTE Limited in Fiji, one of the largest private hospitals in Fiji and one of the largest in the South Pacific Region. Leveraging our healthcare and logistics expertise alongside Siemens NZ, we were able to successfully install these systems.
Oceania Hospitals aimed to expand its presence in Fiji and upgrade its facilities to meet the needs of specialized areas and strengthen its diagnostic capabilities. The addition of the X-ray and MRI systems represents a significant upgrade to imaging capabilities within the region. With these upgrades, Oceania Hospitals are now up to date on some of the latest medical advances allowing for improved patient care.
We were initially contacted by Siemens about these installations in August 2022. We completed the Siemens Altea MRI installation in November 2022 and completed the Siemens Luminos Lotus Max X-ray installation in May 2023.
Due to the location of the hospital, our team identified potential challenges and made sure we had access locally to the specialized tools and equipment necessary to complete the installation. Our team collaborated with Siemens to ensure we had everything we needed to complete a high-quality installation as efficiently as possible.
